I haven't been blogging lately, and when I got the news that Michael Jackson passed (I was in the studio) I broke down. I had to end my session, and I just walked out. I got in my car, turned it on, put on the news, and cried. You'd have thought my bestfriend was murdered. I was speechless, and I have been speechless about the entire thing for a few weeks. I still can't believe that the man who laid the foundation for me to be and do what I am is gone. I was raised on Michael Jackson. My first steps were to The Jackson 5 singing Dancing Machine while my mom blarred it in the kitchen. I remember at like 4 or 5 seeing Michael with the silver glove, and wanting one just like it. Around that same time I saw the "Thriller" video, and although the video scared the holy ghost out of me, the song was instantly one of my all time favorites. I was 10 when I heard my brother sample "Human Nature" for a song he was doing, and I fell in love with the melody. I've been, and always will be a Michael Jackson fan. And in saddens me that we lost such a Legend, and such an inspirational man. No matter the tarnishes on his reputation. Years from now people will still know that Michael Jackson was, is, and always will be the King of Pop, and a man of never ending talent.
LONG LIVE THE KING.
We love you Michael Jackson.

With your music, you healed the world.
With your life, you helped us remember our child inside.
With your death, you showed us that happiness still lives within us.
May you find the peace you could not find on Earth.
I Love You, Michael.
